This will be my 6th year teaching Life Skills at AC Williams. I love my job. It is fun to be with the children and be able to make school FUN. We are able to teach each child at their own level. This allows us to have maximum growth. Along with the regular things (Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies) we also teach social skills, cooking and just how to get along in a group. We really do become a family through the year.
My family includes my husband of 22 years, John Mark Dempsey. He is a professor at TAMU-Commerce. He also is on the radio in Dallas on Sat. morning, and broadcasts for Commerce Football in the fall. My daughter, Jenny is a Senior this year. My son, Mike is a Sophmore this year. So, we are all focused on Commerce Tigers!
