My name is Lisa Coffey. I just completed my 35th year as a special education teacher. I have taught 34 of those years in Commerce. I started at Wheeler and moved into the old A.C. Williams when it was brand new and I am now in the new A.C. Williams. It is fantastic! I graduated from TAMU-Commerce or as it was known back in the good old days - ETSU. My husband, Don, and I raised three boys, Logan, Ryan and Kegan, who are now all in their twenties. The oldest two are married. We have a three year old granddaughter, an eighteen month old grandson and in July we welcomed a new granddaughter to our family. I love working in the special education department and especially the challenges of working with students who struggle to be the best they can be. |
