Learning Zone time from 3:10-3:40will begin. This will take the place of After-School tutorials. Flip cards will need to be read and spelled correctly 4 times to be removed from a students ring for ownership. These cards will come from words missed in Reading and the Voyager Six weeks test. Have students practice nightly.

Reading Passages assigned are due in two days. Passage given on Wednesday, due on Friday. This allows for heavy homework or sports schedules.

We are practicing Mental Math starting with Doubles in Math.
6+6=12 "Double 6". These lead to fact games for quick addition/subtraction/Multiplication in the future. Example: Double 7 +1 pattern 8+7= Double 7=14+1=15. Practice these with students at home.

We have finished our New Years Eve research. We will have a gallery walk in class then display.
